Had a low-key cheat day. Did not completely overeat, but I did have a delicious Cinnabon that my folks brought to me from their shopping trip. I didn't eat too much at any one sitting, and I didn't just eat junk all day, but I did not log any food either. If I did go over my RDI today, I am not worried or upset. It was a totally relaxing day with some yumminess thrown in and I am happy. I did a little bit of walking with my puppy today, but otherwise it was a rest day. Took an excellent nap, and now I am off to bed! Two more challenges starting up in the next day or two. Looking forward to working it!!!!

worked out yesterday even though i didnt want to. sucessfully balanced my carb protein and fat intake--less fat, more protein. AND resisted the offer of takeout for dinner. Lost half a pound. Yay me!!!!!

I keep thinking about how I don't want to work out today. I have to stop thinking about it and just do it. I am on track with food choices keeping things balanced and getting more protein and less fat. I am going to stop at the store after work and get some Lean Cuisine dinners so that I have an option ready if C decides he's gonna get take-out again. Drinking my water and committed to getting my exercise in even though I don't want to. It's all in my head. . .

Made a better choice at Red Robin than what I really wanted--mushroom burger instead of a Bleu Ribbon Burger with Bacon--but did not succeed in leaving the fries alone. I didn't eat them all, though. Only a few. I kinda wish I hadn't done it, but it is done and I am right at my RDI, not over. The bummer is that today I was working (and succeeding) at balancing my carb-protein-fat ratios by getting more protein and eating less fat. Then. . .FAIL! However, it is a good news, bad news kind of day. I made a poor choice for dinner, but all my other choices today were very good. I also got on the treadmill again today and

longer than I did on Saturday. It was a bit more challenging, but it felt good to do it. Tomorrow I think I will wait until after my last class and do a full 30 minutes instead of the 20 or 15 that I can fit in in between classes. I keep challenging myself to do a little more each day (faster or longer or both) and once I have done it, I feel like I am cheating myself to do less. Today I did 3 intervals of 3.5 minutes @ 3.5 mph then 1.5 minutes of 5.5 mph. Last week my intervals were 4 to 1 minutes, sooooo YAY me!!

Holding steady after a couple of days of downward movement. Ready to get back on the treadmill today! My shin splints seem to have recoverd to a point where it doesn't hurt to walk so I am ready to go!
