Finished work at 6:15p and looking forward to a long weekend with my girls. Planned out lunches and dinners for the next four days, did the grocery shopping and 95% stuck to the list. Best part was, I got out of the store with no junk and no sweets. Came home and had a quick/light dinner. Took care of my sweet/chocolate craving in a responsible, healthy manner. Cleaned the house from end to end and now I am ready for bed! In the morning I will be sooo happy that I did all of this tonight! No chores hanging over my head, and no unplanned "fooding" to face. I think I earned at least a +5 on the Madjak30 scale of good choices!

Thankful that last night's food bomb did not completely derail my desire to do right by me. A slight tick upward on the scale and a renewed vigilance for what I pack in my cooler. A little more protein to hold off hunger longer and a sufficient number of calories to consume during the busier part of my day. Time to get to work, I triumph because I'm not letting last night's disappointment keep me down today.

Just recalculated my RDI. Hopefully coming in at or under this new RDI will get things moving downward again on the scale. I need to get moving more also. I sit and read too much (it's one of my favorite things), but I need to get my heart rate up. It is time to take this weight loss thing to another level--one where I intentionally do exercise.

Holding steady today, but still feeling good about most of my choices. I could do with a little less impulse candy eating. I think my period is coming up cause i m craving sugar like a madwoman. Last night's pudding cup was the BEST PUDDING CUP EVER! So i know something is a little wacky with me :-D. Still gotta make a plan for the week with the girls.

Finally! Downward movement on the scale again. Still one pound up from my low before MLK weekend (238); but down 2 of the 3 i gained over that weekend. I wont say i have regained the happy enthusiasm of that first week of Jan. but i at least dont feel like giving up completely. Back to work today which does make eating less and better much easier. C'mon girl, u can do this! Think of Gracie who needs u to be a role model in this weight loss/management game. u both have a lot to gain from losing!
