Morning all,
Today was my 4 year olds first day of preschool. I think it was tougher on me since this means she is now in a full day of school, 5 days a week. It'll give me great quality time with my youngest and not to mention, more time for working out:)
I think I should probably clarify my last journal entry, I am not by any means anti-weight training. I KNOW it is an important part of fitness for fat loss, good health, etc. I will continue to have it in my routines since it is what will get me to where I need to be and keep me there. Having said that, the type of weight training that I have been doing has not been producing the results I want so I am going back to the kind that has been proven to work for me. I really like the Turbo Jam sculpting workouts, and I also really love the Core Secrets ball workouts, great stuff. It just seemed like when I started doing the Firm sculpting workouts, my thighs, hips, and obliques goit more defined but also thicker. Not so good, especially when I pulled out my jeans and they aren't fitting!
Time to get the workout clothes on and get moving!

Good morning everyone! For the past 2 years I have written my workouts down along with my weight when I weigh in. It gives me a feeling of acconplishment and makes it easy to spot patterns of success and where I am going wrong. My point is I have been flustered by the 10 pound gain a couple of months ago so I checked my logs and saw the the weight gain came when I started adding the heavy FIRM strength training workouts and stopped doing as many Turbo Jam Cardio DVD's. This past week I have been back to Cardio workouts and the scale started moving in the right direction. So, my plan is to do the Turbo jams, and Cardio Firms and Tae Bo that only incorporate light sculpting (3-5 lb weights). I think if I can get into the right kind of workouts (the ones my body responds to the best), I can hit my goal finally.
