I got on the scale and was AMAZED to see a huge drop! I feel so happy to have dropped past the weight range I have been stuck at for ages. I now totally feel like I can keep moving and maybe even get to 154-155ish by the time I leave on my trip, woo-hoo! As long as I don't go completely nuts on the trip, which I don't plan to, I will be fine:)
For the trip, I am going to eat and drink what I want and keep the portions small. I know we will be doing lots of walking but I also plan to bring my tubing so I can do some quick strength training/squats/dips in the mornings.
I am SSSSSSOOOOOOO HAPPPPPPPYYYYYYY to have FINALLY break below the plateau, woo-hoo!

I took my measurements today and they are almost exactly the same as they have been for the last 3 months or so, give or take 1/4 inch here and there. Since I am the same size now that I was 10 pounds lighter I am pretty re-assured that it is just new muscle and fluid retention I am dealling wih on the scale. I wish that it didn't bother me but it does, grrrr. I really need to work on that and I'll be doing much better.

I couldn't help myself and weighed in this morning. I have lost about pound in a half in 2 days! Woo-hoo! That was even with me deviations from the plan. That was enough motivation for me to get back on track and try to be a bit more strict in following the plan. I made a double batch of Shephard's Pie, because it is everyones favorite, so that can be dinner for everyone for a couple of days and I can make food for myself more EFS friendly:) I better get my breakfast and then get going on my workout while I am still feeling the motivation!

Hey all,
The hubby got hime late last night which usually spells big trouble, eating wise. He usually wants Bob Evans for breakfast and that is soooooo hard to resist so I made him brakfast instead. We had mini egg fritattas with ff cheese for me and ff cheese and bacon for everyone else. So here was my day:
Workout done: Rest Day (still went to the park with the girls and ran errands)
Meal #1: 4 mini frittatas and grapefruit
Meal #2: 1/2 small cone from dairy queen-I couldn't help myself!
Meal #3: 2 slices light whole wheat 1 TBSP peanut butter and 1 tsp honey
1 serving sun chips
Meal #4 Homeade shephard's pie (I ditched the potatoes and stuck to lots of veggies)
lots of salad w/ lowfat dressing
So, not perfect but far better than a junk fest of eating out, which I usually do when the hubby comes home. I stayed healthy and low calorie so I can't really complain with that. I am super sore from my workout yesterday so I was a little relieved to have a rest day today. Tomorrow will definitely be a cardio day since I will most likely still have some soreness tomorrow and getting that blood pumping will help.

I did almost perfectly today. I did an amazingly challenging Tae Bo workout. I ate as the plan called for up until about 10 minutes ago where i was feeling so awful and nauseous, I had to get something down that wouldn't kill my tummy so I had a peanut butter sandwich. It was only 2 slices of 40 calories light whole wheat bread and less than a TBSP of all natural peanut butter, so it isn't like I ate a box of twinkies. Still not part of the plan but I think I will survive:) Here's my day:
Workout Done: Tae Bo Amped Full Throttle (55 min)
Water intake: 100 + ounces
Meal #1: 6 oz dannon nonfat yogurt
1 cup grapefruit slices
Meal #2: 1 cup madarin orange slices
Meal #3: Tossed Veggie Salad w/ lowfat dressing
Snack: Peanut Butter Sandwich
Meal #4: Black bean and veggie soup (low sodium)
I haven't had the soup yet but that is the plan for now. I don't like how the low calories are making me feel and i remember why I didn't follow it to the word last time. I supplemented the menu to bulk the calories last time I did cycle 1 and I still lost almost 7 pounds the first week. So I guess I need to do that again so I can also have the energy to get a good workout and keep up with the girls.
I know I am on the right track with eating as exercise, I just need to be patient with myself because it'll come off if I do it right. I, like most people, want instant gratification. That will only produce temporary results. It would be awesome to lose 10 pounds right before my trip but it would stink to have none of my clthes fit by the second day. If I keep my eating clean as possible MOST of the time, I won't have a big shock on the trip and get fluffy. that is my current theory. It kind of sounds like I am copping out of doing the diet yet again, but I am really not. I just need to do what works for me:)
