I did it! Reached my goal, now my new goal is 195. Actually 200 is good for me, but I want to have a 5 lb fall back in case I gain a pound or two. I'll still be under my goal. I've lost 6 lbs in the last 11 days. In my younger days I could do that in a couple days, today it's amazing. But I have really been working hard at walking, and other exercise lately. Even when it was cold & windy, and light rain. Also sticking to Low Carb 100%. Good luck to all my friends here, and the entire Fat Secret Family. This site has really given me encouragement.

I firmly believe in a Low Carb lifestyle. It is the only thing that has helped me lose weight successfully for years. And I've tried many different diets over the years. There are variations of low carb as well, Paleo, Keto, etc. Some of my friends tell me they want bread or sweets once in awhile. Well, so do I. But I honestly can't think of a butter biscuit, taco, pizza, or so on that if I do research, & use the right ingredients, that can't be made low carb. I eat French fries made from turnips that are delicious. I can make pies, cheesecakes, milkshakes, all low carb. So I eat everything Low carb, but do without nothing I like. Has anyone heard that Wheat is bad for you? Most diets throw Whole Grain Wheat in as something good for you. I just read a book called "Wheat Belly" that says Wheat is not good for you. Today's Wheat is not what our parents & grandparents ate. Companies such as Monsanto change it to satisfy what's cheaper & more profitable to them. I'm not done researching yet, but most of my research seems to point to it not being healthy. Any thoughts?
