This is a milestone. I am excited but trying not to get too excited because I still have a lot to lose. And, I am always worried that I am losing muscle and not fat. But, I'll try to focus on the positive. I have lost about 9 lbs since I started! Now, if only I could get rid of 10 more by January.

Well, I didn't lose any weight, but I didn't gain any either. I'll take this as a good thing, as the worst part of trying to lose weight (for me) has been when I lose a pound or two one week and gain it/them back the next. So, holding steady is a good thing.
Hopefully I will lose a bit next week :)

Feeling good. Just need to be more careful and more diligent. I'd like to get below 190 by the end of this month and below 180 by Christmas. Here's hoping!

Surprised to see this number on the scale, in a good way. Things that have helped--wine instead of beer, water all the time, smaller portions. I hope that I can keep this up. I'd like to lose another 5 pounds by October. Let's see if I can.
