It's been a good week. I have not followed the exercise program to a tee, yet. But.....I have been very active and I'm.feeling it.
I'm trying to reduce the number of sugars and starches in my diet, and that will always be an issue for me. What I will do is try to increase my protein intake via protein shakes.....4 scoops per day. The extra 100g of protein will help with muscle growth and recovery and fill me up alittle more.
September has always been a good month for me to get serious about fitness goals and I am hoping this will again be the case.

Two weeks of maintenance, some cardio. now....added weight training routine and tracking nutrition, focusing on pushing heavier weight during workouts, cardio in the morning on an empty stomach, and watching carbs while increasing protein. Keeping a journal as well to track.
I've done this before. so....cardio in the morning works for me in terms of weight loss. Muscle building in the evening. Now, let's track it and do it. Feel motivated as my body is pretty hard underneath the layer of fat around it. Aren't we all?

Up a little weight during my vacay. Starting today, doing 30 min cardio every morning, weights in the evening, and scaling back the carbs. Time to get 'er done.
