So, I started the Smashing today. A friend and I are doing it together. I was a dedicated vegetarian for years, so Phase I sort of feels like home to me. I am excited to be cooking again. It seems as though the more busy my life got, the easier it was for me to drive through a fast food lane and pig out. Now that I'm getting back on track, I'll be able to eat as much food as I want without the guilt.
I've been cooking Phase I friendly meals once a day for the last week or so, by the time today came around, I was completely okay with not having cheese, oil, and sugar. So, I've had some veggie soup and rice, a smoothie, a pumpkin oatmeal bar with soy milk, and some tofu fried rice. I actually am feeling more full than I have in a really long time. I think tomorrow I'm going to eat smaller portions.
Hopefully this continues to go this smoothly.
