Day 23, Whole30. I’m not adhering to the rules today. I’m fasting, water, tea, coffee, mct oil, Apple cider vinegar.
85ozs of liquid, lots of sleep.
I spent almost two hours prepping meals for my granddaughter who lives with me with no desire to put anything in my mouth. It’s as though my body has demanded a full day of rest after the three weeks of ‘cleaning house’ (my body).
Tomorrow I will ensure I eat three nutritious meals as I am going to work.

Day 22, Whole30. Looks like I am slipping into intermittent fasting automatically. I haven’t eaten breakfast for two years, bullet proof coffee only, up until 11:00 or noon. Just more comfortable and less fuss. I notice that without breakfast I am not getting my full daily calories. Wonder why my energy drops!!! Ha!
Not weighing in again until next Sunday as Whole30 rules say not to weigh at all. I am too trained by fatsecret to check everything daily so can’t break the habit.

Day 21, Whole30, on the last leg before adding back any of the categories I removed.
I already know I am going out on Day 30 in the evening and I am definitely having a glass of wine…I really want to see what effect that has. The next thing I will add back is yogurt and cheese , which I miss even more than wine. I don’t know yet if dairy will affect me after a long absence, but I’m curious. Bread comes back last and other grain like oats and rice. I might stay gluten free though as I find my head is clear and my joints don’t ache. Interesting experiment!
