Hello fellow FatSecreteers! I did a bad thing yesterday and ended up going well over my calorie count. I'm over 20 hours fasted now and have started to make something for my meal for today. I will allow myself some sunflower seeds later if I feel "hangry", but I do not expect to exceed 1,000 calories today.

On top of that, I'll be staying up later today and sleeping in, so I'll have another 20+ hour fast again.

I have been considering returning to the Keto diet because of the difficulties I have been having with cravings, but I'm thinking that the true problem is that I have not been properly prepared. It is one thing to fast from 6 PM to 1-3PM the next day when I sleep and work most of that time, but if I get home with nothing ready to eat I am more inclined to "binge". I need to have something decently prepared so that I can at least have something to work with.

I have been feeling a bit "slow" these last couple of days. I'm thinking there might be a deficiency of some kind as I haven't been taking my vitamins these last few days. It is also true that I have been getting up earlier and working longer, but this is a heavy brain fog that just won't go away. I ended up breaking my fast as soon as I got up because I simple felt that I needed some type of boost and then even had a snack part way through the work day.

It won't hurt my progress in all reality, but I hate making such detours when I have set a plan in action. It is very reassuring to see the weight drop back down so quickly after this weekend. More people at work have been chatting with me about how they're trying to lose weight and what they're doing and asking what I did. I feel the best advice I can give them is that you have to get back on the right path after breaking off. That is what will help you succeed in my experience. The point is to get healthy, not to hate your life. Change things incrementally and adapt as time goes on.
