Have been unofficially weighing myself daily, and for most of this week was hovering around 175.5lbs (almost 2 pound loss on the week).
However, yesterday I didn't do my usual exercises, or go for a long walk. As a consequence at my official weigh in this morning I have lost only the one pound on the week!
Gutted by indulging in such a lazy day directly before my MFS weigh-in! However, a pound off is still a pound off, and 12st 8 is better than 12st 9 I guess.
Lesson learned.

Happy with a 2 pound drop this week (177lbs 12st 9), which rounds off almost 6 pounds off for the month of May.
One possible reason for the 2 pound drop is for the last 2 weeks I have not eaten anything before 9am or after 6pm.
And the same goes for drinks that have calories (including my beloved tea!): nothing before 7am or after 8pm (other than water)

Losing 0.9 kg a Week

A pound off for this week. It is becoming quite a war of attrition trying to get those pounds off in order to reach my new target goal of 165lbs. I am in no big rush, however. I am just glad to be back in the 12st zone for the first time in 9 years!
When I look back at my weight chart on here, I was a wapping 245lbs back in April 2014 when I signed up to MFS. And right up until the start of January of this year I had lost only 35lbs (there were plenty of dips and peaks along the way of course). And that was despite spending hours on treadmills, exercise bikes, jogging, weight lifting etc. It all came undone because I was still eating more than I was burning off: so all that hard work exercising was relatively futile in the long run.
But since the start of this year, I have lost almost the same amount (31lbs) in only 5 months! And I didn't bother with treadmills or weights, just an exercise bike and more walking, gardening and DIY activities.
But the key achievement is food intake - keep on top of that and you will lose weight far faster.
So in summary:
from April 2014 to January 2020 (almost 6 years) - weight loss of 35lbs
from January 2020 to May 2020 (5 months) - weight loss of 31lbs
Food intake is key; everything else is secondary.

At long last I have reached my 2nd goal target for 2020 - 180 pounds! (12st 12, in old money)
I started my 2020 diet at 210 pounds (15st 0) in early January, setting my first goal target of 195 pounds (13st 13). I achieved that by mid February (35 days roughly).
I then set my 2nd goal target of 180 pounds, and it took over twice as long to achieve (some 83 days to get rid of the same number of pounds - 15)
My new goal target will be 165 pounds (11st 11). This will take me into the recommended BMI range. But I am under no illusions that this will be another long and drawn out haul (another 83 day perhaps, taking me to the end of July).
Nevertheless, I am pleased to have gotten this far in 5 months, and if it does take another 80 odd days or more to get to my new goal then so be it!
But never mind about the future: today I reached 12st 12. I can't even remember the last time I said that out loud in the last 10 years!
A couple of beers and a Kit Kat will be the order of the day later.
Good morning :)
