I had a physical a few months ago, and I was very pleased that besides being obese I guess I'm in good health. But like the doctor said it's best to lose the weight now before it catches up to me...who knows how long that'll take. I realized that being thin doesn't always mean you're healthy. My husband has always been thin, and is a really good runner, but he eats out a lot and smokes quite a bit...he went to the doctor last week and found out he has high cholesterol, plus he's developing that horrid smokers cough. I get nervous because his family has a lot of health issues. I hope me changing my lifestyle and getting healthy will motivate him as well.

It feels good to be back on track on today. I ate healthy, got in my exercise. And I know I really can't afford to have any length of time where I let my eating get out of control. I still can't believe I gained 4 lbs in 3 days, but I guess I needed to this to keep me in check.

Well I think I was wrong about being able to make it through Thanksgiving without doing to much damage. I really thought I could have a day of just eating whatever, but it turned into 3 days of overeating....I haven't stepped on the scale yet, but I'm sure I gained. Today I took the kids out for pizza. I did ok. I had one big slice and a coke, but I didn't watch my calories today, so I'm sure I went over. I just need to stop before I gain back all the weight I've lost so far.

Well yesterday was fun, but I really did eat and drink to much. It's been awhile since I've felt that full. Then today my dad took me out to this amazing burger joint. The cheeseburger and fries were probably a days worth of calories. Yes, I know I could have got a salad, but that's just not me and that's one of the major reasons I avoid going out to eat. But the pies, bread, and not so healthy foods are all gone, and I have turkey to eat for the next few days. *raises my last beer* here's to tomorrow.
