I'm really thankful for this site, and the buddies I have through it. Mentally I still am not really where I should be to lose weight. I tend to get in this mind set where I feel it'll be impossible to be thin again...so I come on here and read all the journals, and really get that motivation I need back. To see where so many of you have started and where you're at now-even if you haven't reached your goal yet- is simply amazing to me.

I ran a mile this morning! I forgot how much I really enjoyed running...I love that feeling that sticks with you afterwards. I'm kind of nervous though, this jan/feb I'm visiting in-laws up in the midwest and there'll be snow (no snow by me, so it's easy to get out and run everyday). I just don't want to lose all the hard work I'll be putting into my running.

ran 1/2 a mile this morning, then walked 3...still ways to go before being able to run a 5K...I really wish I would have pushed myself, I think I could have made a mile...I'll give it my best tomorrow.

nice...for the last couple years I've been bouncing back and forth in the 240s and 250s...so this is so awesome to finally get into the 230s.
