Week 3:
Pretty good week. I had a "first" 10Km run on Saturday with moderate pace (6'20"/Km). I felt some pain in my hip which become stronger after the run.
Related to the diet I managed to stay inside the limits imposed by the Atkins. In average the calorie intake was about 1000 per day and the deficit about 17600 for the whole week. My calculated weight loss should have been 2.5 Kg, whereas the measured one was 2.4 Kg. So pretty close this time.
This coming week is going to be the most difficult one due to Christmas meals and activities. If I do well this week, it shouldn't be a problem to meet induction phase goals.

Week 2:
Nothing special. The weight loss was below my estimation. Respecting the diet rules became like second nature. My self imposed RDI of 1000 Kcal can't be done without an effort but my average is about there, though. I was well below the limit of 20g carbs per day defined by Atkins.
Based on the deficit of 15000 Kcal last week, the loss should have been about 2 Kg. Normally math is right, with exceptions. Maybe there are weeks when it just happens like this.
The plan for the next week is the same. I hope this time the results would be closer to expectations.

Losing 0.9 kg a Week

Week 1:
The start was good. No cheating. I've set an RDI of 1000 Kcal, which was fairly easy to keep. I managed about -15000 Kcal this week, which is consistent with my weight loss. My water management wasn't an issue due to often visits to the sauna.
My physiotherapist advised a first 5K run to see what happens. It was good, no pain during or after.
This morning the Ketostix indicated a "strong" ketosis, as expected.
I am looking forward to another good week with similar results.

Time to restart! I had a joint injury and I could not exercise since March. I've put on about 14 Kgs. My injury is not yet healed, so I have to lose weight without moving that much. Well I can walk, stand but I am not allowed to run, x-country ski or swim for the time being.
My plan is mentain Atkins ignition phase until I get below 90 Kgs. After that I'll figure out what to do, but it means to lose roughly 2Kg/Week in the coming 8 weeks.
Difficult - yes, impossible - not. I did it before, I did it last year and other times as well.
