Another day of stability. I am always happy when the scale doesn't shoot up overnight.
Being that it is Friday the 13th, I thought I might gain but so far holding steady.
By my calculation of calories in vs. calories eaten, I should lose at least one more pound at some point this week before Monday.
I found a great recipe for my pressure cooker that is low carb and uses Italian sausage and peppers and tomatoes. I hope to be able to try it tonight. I haven't cooked sausages in the pressure cooker yet so this should be fun! And hopefully flavorful.

Staying in the same place today. I'll take it. No ups. No downs.
I feel good but I'd feel even better if I could get to the fitness center today. That is my goal. I have my IPod ready and 2 hours available on my schedule. It will be warm in there. No ice to slip on and if I time it right, no kids since they will be at school.
FOCUS> FOCUS> FOCUS>
That is my mantra. Weight is coming off. I am closer to being healthy. I am off the BP meds. My back and joints aren't as stressed and my clothes are too baggy! Soon it will be time to go to the next size smaller and that, my friends, is a GREAT accomplishment for me.
I think it is interesting that I've already lost 25#. When I think about having a 25# bag nd hauling it around all day, that idea is daunting. I would be exhausted. And yet, that is exactly what I did to my self by allowing my weight to get out of control.
I can do all things THROUGH CHRIST who gives me strength.

Yes, I'll take another half pound today. Thank you very much. I fully expected to stay where I am for the next several days.
I have stayed on plan 100% and I am enjoying cooking with the IP. Last night I did a whole chicken so I'll have enough leftover to make several meals for my self.
Another day of not being able to go to the fitness center due to the ice storm. Even our puppy training class has already been cancelled for tonight. Hirschl and I did get to play in the snow during the early evening after all the sleeting had stopped. There were huge flakes of snow falling then and the moon was huge. It looked gorgeous out despite the fact that on the news it said more than 40 semis had gotten stuck or had accidents.

Still feeling the momentum.
Last night I got out my Instant Pot pressure cooker and made chicken breasts. They were so delicious and so easy! I am still learning to cook with it and looking up recipes in cookbooks and online but I have to say the convenience, combined with the healthy meals sure makes this a great way to cook.
Has anyone else been using the Instant Pot? What are your favorite recipes?
Another ice storm here so it looks doubtful as to whether or not I will get to the gym to walk. I will opt for some stretching here safely locked away in my house.

Progress. I'll take it.
I personally think if I find a better spot on the bathroom floor with less gravitational pull, I'll be down 1.5 instead of .5! Anyone else have that daydream?
The plan this week is to get all my miles in at the fitness center since the weather is going to stay cold. I like to get there during the day when school kids are at school.
I do need to plan out menus yet this week. Does anyone have any great low carb recipes that I should try.
