I know that I try to only weigh in once a week, but I was so discouraged at my last weigh in that I couldn't wait until next week. I knew that I had lost weight and wanted to see how much. 298 today. Yay. Under 300! Yay!

Good News: My boyfriend surprised me with a Labor Day weekend to the beach. Bad News: It was TOM. Good News: I actually stayed on program really well. Bad News: Stil, I gained four pounds. Ah, life, you just CRACK me up.

Today's mantra: Atkins bars are not food. Okay, so TOM is here. Yay, nature is awesome. I dealt with the sugar cravings yesterday by eating Atkins bars. Yup. Three of them. Okay, so that is not really the best plan. So, today I am going in a different direction. I am vowing to drink a glass of water at the first call of the sugar craving, and I have made some celery with cream cheese and I am going to chomp on that instead. After that, I have some cheese and olives. I may still end up with an Atkins bar stuffed in my face at some point today, but at least it won't be the go to snack and thus far less likely that I will eat a million of them.

TOM is coming. Has to be. Slowed weight loss, feeling bloated, icky, and fatter than usual. I am craving SUGAR!! I am really ill tempered and I HATE all my clothes.
And on that note... it is time to go to teach a class. My poor poor students ;)

I am so grateful to be down two pounds today, but it jut goes to show that life is too too funny. I was really stressed out and I had a terrible week. I know I had "hidden sugar" and it set me back. I know I gained weight from it that thankfully I was able to lose by weigh in day--Most likely because I have been walking. Oh,don't get me wrong, I am glad to have lost the two pounds that I did, but I was really hoping to get into the 200s. So, now, I still went down but the dang scale landed squarely on 300! So funny. Okay, so on to the 200's next week!
