Starting weight on first day of Braces 05/19/2022. Today is 05/21/2022. My orthodontist said my treatment can take 12-16 months as long as there’s no set backs. Officially cutting off all drinks besides water (easy!) I usually have a $2 big bag of hot cheeto fries every night. It’s been that way since I was 9. I was just always active in sports. I’m already missing snacking on them. So much so that I don’t even focus on pain. I can only count down the days so I can snack on some in a year or so! Let’s see if I lose weight on this “braces diet” & how much. I was usually always 106-112 lbs. I can’t wait til these things are off, it took me 1.5 hours to FLOSS just trying to not break a bracket. Next weigh in will be at my adjustment appointment 06/17/22 😁

TOM but also I’ve been eating everything I won’t be able to for the next 12-18 months. I get braces on 05/19! 💫 I’m healing by taking care of my body so I have my first pap and mammogram scheduled for next week. I’m nervous, I have switched to a different primary doctor and a different dentist. They’re great! I’ve also gone to the dine-in theatres by myself a few times. I was so embarrassed at first. I may never be the same but I’ll be ok, I know that and that is all that matters. ❤️
