Recently, I have been a very good girl - watching what I'm eating and going to the gym for an hour or more three days a week.
Starting Tuesday, I plan to make more healthy meals at home, eat fresh fruit and veggies, cheese and yogurt for snacks. I plan to hit up the gym for an hour or more four times a week and include serious weight training on at least two of those four days.
But tonight, I'm having pizza!

I feel like I've been crazy busy this past week! So busy, that I forgot to check in here!
I've been trying all sorts of group exercise classes at the gym...including Flexi-Bar. (What a weird little thing...and *way* harder than it looks!)
I've also learned that I can leg press my entire body weight!
Even though the long weekend is coming up, I have to work right up until Sunday. *boo* And I've been told that I'm being taken on a tour of the Steam Whistle Brewery on Monday. Should be interesting...

I'm really having fun at the gym! I'm trying out different classes and seeing what I really like. I know I still need to get lifting some weights, so I hope I can get someone to show me how to use the machines properly...
But, clearly, this seems like the push I needed to get myself moving again!

Who knew I was going to enjoy going to the gym?!?
There are still a couple of classes that I want to try, but it's hard finding time for them in my current schedule. But here's hoping! Meanwhile, I'm going to stick with the classes that I've tried and liked so far. And I'll probably add in some extra stuff along the way...

I'm kinda bummed that I have to miss the BodyFlow class that I really like today...but there's another one at a different gym on Friday morning, so i think I'll go to that class.
I'm still going to get myself to the gym before work...I'm going to do a bit of light weights here at home and when I get to the gym, I'm going to use the treadmill and I'm going to foam roll the hell out of my right thigh!
