My foot is still fairly swollen from the spider bite...I only have three pair of footwear that actually fit! And you can't get too far in bedroom slippers, flipflops or fake Birkenstocks.
It's not as red as it was over the weekend, and it's not hot to the touch anymore, so I guess that it's healing now. There's a super big, crusty, oozing welt at the initial bite site that pretty gross and very, very itchy. But I'm not allowed to put anything on it until the swelling goes down. *boo*
I'm hoping that I'll be able to put my running shoes on by Friday, or Saturday at the latest. Not being able to get to the gym is making me a little mental... :S

Guess who is terribly allergic to spider bites? Me, apparently. Got bit Saturday morning, took some Reactine and covered the bite with anti-itch cream and thought I'd be fine...
Come Sunday morning, my foot is more than twice its normal size, I have next to no mobility in my toes and can barely support my own weight on my left side.
Two different prescriptions later, the redness has finally stopped spreading, but the swelling has yet to go down. I can wiggle my toes a little bit now. And the original bite site is as itchy as hell, but I've been told I can't put anything on it or take any antihistamines because they don't play nice with the antibiotics!
So I probably won't be getting to the gym this week...seeing as I can barely walk and my left foot doesn't actually fit inside my shoe...

For some reason, I've let myself indulge one too many times this week. Sunday night it was popcorn and pizza. Monday night was Kraft Dinner. I've also had grilled cheese sandwiches, chocolate, ice cream, gummi bears and other junk.
Normally, I have a day, maybe two, where I let myself go just a teeny bit overboard. But I've let myself get a little out of hand this week.
Next week will also be tough...I have three twelve hour shifts, which means I won't be able to get to the gym as often as I'd like. Plus, Canada Day is coming up. Guess I just have to rein myself in this week.

Thought I was going to show a smaller loss...I feel like I haven't been eating the best things this week!
But I have gone to the gym and I've been drinking lots of water.
I feel like I'm on track to reach my first goal of 160-165 lbs by the end of July/beginning of August.
