I had a very long entry typed but my computer did a disappearing on me before I entered it. I can't find the spot where I was reading all the entries. I am going to have to get better at surfing this site. I did not weigh this morning but am going to weigh Sat morning.

Today is another wonderful day..I am getting stronger every day with my eating. I have turned down more eating invitations, it feels good to have the strength to say no thanks. I have a hair appointment at 1:00 today so when I get home I am going to try my hand at another Adkins recipe..corned beef & cabbage. I'm going to make enough so I can freeze some for later.

I am very late with my entry today. I had a lot to do this morning then went to the grocery store with my low carb list in hand. I was very proud of myself, I DID NOT BUY ANYTHIBG I COULDN'T HAVE!!
I have made a decision that I am trying my best to stick to. Since it's cold outside and I don't have a job to go to every morning, I am going to stay at home and not go out to eat, or play bingo, or go to a dance or anything that has to do with being tempted about food. I can stick to this as long as I have this site to read every day and friends to visit with.

I could not go to sleep last night. I did not go to sleep until about 5:00 am this morning. I'm glad I'm retired and don't have to go to work anymore. I'd really be in a mess...I feel exhausted now.
For some reason today does not seem to be a happy day for me. I have the blues. It won't last though, I don't stay down for long.
