I remember this phenomena but still do not like it. A weird and sudden gain back? I had chinese food last night with a lot of sodium and that could be causing water retention. I am going to run today which normally helps with that. The real test is the Monday weigh in.

It was a good first week back. I am back in running shape and working at least 45 minutes of some form of exercise every day. I believe the five pounds down this week is solely based on a very bad Easter weekend that led to a higher than usual weigh-in on the starting Monday. Bolder Boulder training is in full effect and with any luck, I will be at 210 by then and back to 10/min miles.

Starting a new diet today. Back to the 3-meal + running diet that has worked for me in the past. The goal is to get the 210 by X-mas. I am back to running shape and running 3 times a week. The goal is to decrease calories by 500/day and burn off 700 each day I run.

A real challenge today at Smashburger - avoided the fries but was challenged with getting more meat than the order 1/3 lbs. Will offset with additional mile on the run today. Will try to get in 4 miles for the first time in 3 months.
