I signed into fatsecret now just to check some nutrition info - my husband and i went to 7-11 for free slurpees - Whaaat!? on a wintry January day - anyway once I got here I was reading posts from people who just came back or recorded first weigh-ins and i couldn't help myself - gotta give em the best - it really helps my motivation to see so many people in the same boat - trying so hard to make lifestyle changes to have a longer, healthier life for themselves and those who love them

I'm doing remarkably well maintaining healthy habits this winter. I know I can pat myself on the back, but I don't want to be like those uber-wealthy people who don't want to pay their fare share of taxes, who act like they got their wealth all by themselves, neglecting to acknowledge their tax supported education, the tax supported infrastructure that allows easy access to resources and all the other benefits ya get from tax dollars. Anyway - not sure where that came from - I have to acknowledge my family who allows me to plan all the meals and dictate other food related issues and my co-workers who make me take walks and my employer who really pushes wellness. Oh, and wouldn't I be remiss without a shout-out to fat secret. Thank you,Fat Secret Community!
