Slight mistake! (but still low carb goodness) Applewood smoked, thick cut applewood bacon wrapped jalapeno poppers. I usually taste ingredients while cooking. I even taste new dog food before subjecting my pups to it. I did not test the jalapenos this time. Oops. I usually leave a little bit of the membrane in the jalapeno for heat. Jalapeno poppers that don't have heat are pretty boring, imo. These turned out smokin' hot! It's ok, just have to mix with other things. For breakfast I chopped one up and scrambled a couple eggs on it. Lesson learned? Nah, I'll do it again.
Plain poppers are good but sprinkling some rub and smoking makes them even better!

Tanita scale advice please!
I'd love to get one of the megabuck ones but won't until I win the lottery. Are the lower priced ones good/accurate/consistent? Reviews are mixed and some say that the new models aren't as good as the old ones. Definitely want to measure fat and muscle, maybe water. Advice? Pointers? TIA!

Lunch! Chili(with chunks o' brisket) and low carb almond flour based biskets. One has diced serrano and extra sharp cheddar. Low carb is so torturous!
