Just came home from my nightly walk with my dog. I attempted jogging towards the last half of the walk.....and I have to say I shocked and surprised myself!!!! I was able to continuously keep the pace for about 1 to 1.5 minutes...walked for a bit then jogged again. That's saying something for me since I have NEVER ever been able to do that without feeling like I was going to die.lol. Not something I planned to do tonight but happy I did it.
Feeling reallllly great right now :) Now off to do my weight training!

Congrats!!! That's how I started, short intervals of jogging in between longer periods of walking. Keep it up & you'll be running a 5k in no time...that is, if you want to, lol.

Good for you Dweet. Each time you do something like that for yourself, just reinforces the lifestyle journey you are on right now! I hope someday just to be able to walk around downtown for more than 10 mins without having to sit down!
