First week on Atkins and it has been hard. I am looking up recipes to find new things to eat so that we don't get bored with the food. Lots of grilling. I am starting to feel better, I actually cleaned the house yesterday without taking any breaks and still felt great afterwards. I definately need to keep the weight off this time because the roller coaster life style is starting to get old, plus now that I am getting older it seems harder to take off the weight and the weight is starting to take a toll on my bones and joints.

Diana I know exactly how you feel. Having a husband and kids and work can really make it hard. You just want to grab fast food on the way home and just RELAX. Once you get in the groove and you have been on Atkins for a few weeks it will get easier and easier. I do think you have more energy also. I use to have trouble with getting so sleepy after lunch and I don't do that anymore. Good Luck!
