I have taken to writing down what I eat. Not surprisingly, found that if I write it down, I will eat less. Made me realize just how much I had eaten previously.
Now I am staying at 1000-1200 kcal/day...a much better number! I was up to 194 Monday, and today, 192. So that's 2 pounds off. If I can stay with it, and lose 2 pounds a week, I will succeed to my goal. And I have a gym to go to, but the snow and blizzard-like conditions outside have kept me away. But once the weather clears a bit, I will start back at my new gym.
