Okay. As I said, I am starting a new diet today. You only eat your meals withing a 6 hour time period each day. For me, that's between 1pm and 7PM. Reason this works for me, is because I'm never hungry when I first get up. So, by doing other things during the day, I don't eat until I sit down at 1 for a rest. Gives me the entire morning to go to the gym, and to get a head start on my liquid intake. (It's water, nothing else! Well, coffee in the morning, water or iced tea the rest of the day.) Funny thing is, I'm not hungry until that first bite...then I'm hungry for the rest of the day. That's one reason I think this diet just might be the one that works for me. We shall see.

Well, looks like I didn't do as good as I could have done. New year, new approach.
I have decided to do any eating between 1pm and 7pm.
It's similar to a partial
Fast diet, and according to
Research, is pretty good for
losing weight and keeping diabetes in a normal or near
Normal level. I'm doing it.

Don't know exactly what went wrong, but first I've gained all this weight (13 pounds), then got cat scratch disease when my cat scratched my hand (antibiotics for 10 days). As the old song says: "If it weren't for bad luck, I'd have no luck at all!" Well, we're back on track, but with the holidays upon us, don't know for how long. arghh!!!

And here I am, on vacation in New Orleans, and still watching what I eat. Go figure. But with allergies to seafood, makes it easier to follow my diet. Won't know until Sunday, when I get home, whether I've lost or gained. Let's hope for the loss.
