i know this is a mind cycle to me: my mind says I am ..my body says NO!..my mouth then doesn't care what goes in & my brain shuts off! the realty that I'm doing myself harm and moving further from where I want to be health and size wise. so today i got the youtube workout videos..i will go to bed dressed and ready to jump and exercise. really exercising is my only me time - that in itself should be justification enough. you know just give it a month and see what happens.

I can totally relate to that mind cycle. I don't know how to combat it... distraction seems to work. But I struggle w/it most late at night.
Have you considered or ever looked into the Atkins diet? That's what I'm following now and I am not as strict as I could be, but the weight is coming off. I commend you for being motivated to purposely exercise. I have trouble w/that... it's a mind cycle for me on that one.
