Looks like my scales are off a bit compared to the doc's scales. I've been exercising more and doing some light lifting with my arms. (1 pound to 5 pound) My doc cut back my diabetes meds today. I will get the results of my bloodwork next week. She cut them back because of my glucose readings.
I am so happy with Atkins and how it has helped me to slowly get my life back. I have more energy and I am taking less medication. It's given me a way to live. I am no longer afraid of what diabetes is doing to me, because with Atkins I am fighting it head on one day at a time.
