I am a happily married 37 year old mother of a 14 yo and a 6 yo. Since my twenties I have battled the bulge in my midsection, but was able to win the battle with exercise alone. In the last 2 years, I have been diagnosed with spinal cord compression in my neck and multiple level disc herniation's and vertebra instability in my lumbar spine. Needless to say, exercise is out of the equation for me right now. Unfortunately, the many courses of steroids, as well as the change over from a active to a more sedentary lifestyle has helped lead to the 58 pound weight gain I am determined to lose! I say these events helped pack on those pounds because I am realizing my FOOD CHOICES played an equal if not bigger part!
