I'm following the diet more than half the time, but mostly concentrating on keeping active. I've lost 18# and I'm finding my energy level is increasing all the time. I cleaned the house the other day and didn't have to stop because I was exhausted. I stopped because I was done. Big change. I also have been sleeping just a little less and waking up feeling well rested. Last night I was in bed by 10:45 and I woke up at 5:30. I did snuggle back in and drift off for another 30 minutes, but I could have gotten up and started my day without a problem at 5:30. Two months ago I needed a solid eight hours to function.
I bought a finch sock and a couple new bird/hummingbird feeders yesterday, filled up the bird feeder, made hummingbird nectar and I'll put it out today. Need to get something set up for the squirrels so they leave the bird feeders alone. Spring is my favorite time of the year, and I'd love it if the weather was always this beautifully moderate. I've had the windows open and have been enjoying the sights, smells and sounds of spring. Maybe in a few years I'll be able to move to the mountains, where the weather will be much more temperate than here in the Piedmont.
