I have officially left the obese stage!!! I got on the scale to find that I lost enough to come out of the obese spectrum and into the overweight section! This makes me a very happy girl!

I don't like the number the scale gave me, but honestly even at that number, I'm more toned and have more muscle than ever before. I'm going down in sizes, my clothes fit looser and looser all the time, so I know I'm doing the right thing. So I just have to continue doing what I'm doing and not focus on the number.

I tackled my goal for December! I wanted to hit 100 miles walking/running for the month, and I did it! I ended the month with 101 miles. I'm so proud of myself for sticking to it, and reaching it. I've made the same goal for this month as well, but I do plan on upping the walk from 5 miles to 7 miles a day. I'm going to keep my 5 miles in the morning and then do an additional 2 miles in the late afternoon before dinner time.
I got a punching bag, and speed bag for Christmas, and I absolutely love them! They'll kick your butt too! I'm amazed at how quickly it wears you out. Great exercise and a great way to get any frustrations out.
I haven't been to the gym for a couple of months now because the truck is dead. I'm starting to wonder if I really even need the gym membership. I've been doing so good here and we've got quite the collection of things. I'm going to wait a little while longer and see how I feel about it.
I'm doing good at the exercise part~ it's just the eating part that I'm not so good at. I usually eat once a day at dinner and then almost always find something to snack on later in the night. Not good, I know. I know how bad it is ~ I know all the things you're probably thinking right now ~ it's just getting myself into a routine and following through daily. I MUST do it. I've got to stop with all the excuses I seem to be able to come up with and just do it. I also need to drink more water on my walks in the mornings.
This morning I got in 5 1/4 miles. I didn't get to walk yesterday as it rained, but all was clear this morning for my walk. It was 44 degrees which was pretty cold when the wind picked up~ but I love walking in the morning. It's so peaceful.
