Overshot my 20-hour fast by one hour, but this is what my first meal was: Honey lime habanero chicken, orange cauliflower, and deviled eggs. Also got a little carried away with the deviled eggs. The chicken had a nice sweet heat.

Ending a 20-hour fast with honey lemon baked salmon, cauliflower, and strawberries. I'll probably throw in a handful of almonds when I'm done.

For the first time in 6 years, I officially weigh less than 300 lbs!
Since December 30th, I've lost 19lbs! Just seeing that number gives me chills. That is the most weight I've ever worked to lose.

Success: I'm only 1.3 lbs from breaking a MAJOR milestone - 300 lbs!
Low: None this week. I was in good spirits all week. Yesterday morning I completed a 19-hour fast. That was a little harder than I expected. I started getting the shakes after 18 hours. I have been completing 18-hour fasts consistently this week and will continue next week. The week of Valentine's Day, I plan to start trying 20:4 intermittent fasting.
Saturday was my treat day. However, despite having more "treat" than I feel I should have, I still ended the day having consumed less than 2,300 calories.
What Did I Do Different This Week?: Fewer exceptions. I only indulged in dinner once. The kids made chicken caruso and it looks really good. But I had less than 1/4 cup of rice and 100g of chicken and sauce. I still ended the day below 1,500 calories.
I had coffee twice this week. HOWEVER, I am very proud of how and when I had my coffee. Wednesday morning, we got Starbucks. I got a grande nitro cold brew with sweet cream (70 cal). I put it in the refrigerator at home until the end of my fast at noon and enjoyed it with lunch.
The onther exception I made was when the kiddos made "restaurant-style mac and cheese." I had two spoonfuls to taste test it about 30 minutes after my fast started.
What Did I Say I Was Going to Do Different Last Week? Last week I said I was going to make vewer exceptions and I did.
Best Healthy Meal This Week: Shredded barbeque chicken with 5g of barbeque sauce, deviled eggs, and sweet peppers for breakfast.
What Am I Going to Do Different Next Week: More activity. I went for a brisk walk a few times this week and completed a couple TRX workouts. Some parts of the TRX workouts were near impossible simply because I'm still large. But I believe I need to start working in more activity to maintain the weight loss.
Other Observations: Despite significantly reducing the number of calories I consume daily, I have not suffered any headaches...at all. When I think about it, I haven't suffered any headaches since I started eating healthier two months ago.
