Well I finally did some exercise yesterday, few light calisthenics, and used some small hand weights, now I just have to get into the swing of 3 or 4 times a week. Walking will come as my arthritis continues to improve. No slips or falls since I started almost 5 weeks ago. I find induction easy and simple, and keeping to a simple meal plan has helped me stay focused. Will probably be going out to eat tomorrow with family, so hope we find a place that will be atkins friendly for me! Also hubby just told me he wants to take me away to the Casino in Evansville for the weekend in Mar. At first I was worried but we have been there many times before, I know the restaurants and feel confident I can stick with my plan! Well tyr to get that exercise in!

Motivation still high, feeling great! No hunger, joint and arthritis pain very minimal. Mood good, went out and got a totally new haircut yesterday, now I look ten years younger and love my new look! So glad I did it makes me feel great and super motivated! Next weigh in on Mon, hoping for some good #s but if not I will still stay motivated because if I average it out so far about 3 lbs a week, can't beat that!

Doing good staying on track with my food plan and getting in all my water (big deal for me) Now time to figure out how to start that dreaded exercise plan!

Well as I start my 4th week I finally see some amazing changes. Weight down 9 lbs, inches lost 5.5, hunger gone,(almost forcing myself to eat at times) arthritis pain diminished by about 75%, outlook and motivation good! This can be a very frustrating program for people that want to see results yesterday! But with patience and perserverence, Atkins is a great diet to follow. For me this is the first time I have stuck with only weighing myself weekly, because I know with even a slight gain during the week it could have caused me to cave and stray from my food plan. As we all know some things just work better for some than for others and these are the things that work for me. Yes, I have 2 occasions coming up, one in April and my niece's wedding this August so I do have things that I am working towards, but my major goal is my health and feeling better! Tired of being a bystander in my own life! Happy Monday everyone, hope you all have a great week!
