No gain, but no loss either. Just a very bad week. Temps were -10 but with the windchill it was -35. This meant treadmill walking no outdoor activities. I truly feel I don't do as well on a treadmill. I just can't seem to do a natural walk on one. I have my speed set at 1.5 mph and added an incline of 3%. Maybe I should increase the speed instead of the incline? Anyone have any advice for treadmill walking and weight loss? I sure could use the help as it looks like I am going to be in below zero temps for a while here.

I only lost 14 lbs but that was enough to have me recalculate my insulin needs. I was wondering what was going on as I was having too many low blood sugars. I went from needing 1.47 units of insulin an hour to 1.20 units. I made the pump adjustment so hopefully I can stop eating every time I turn around

I don't know what I am going to do for exercise today. I have been snowshoeing and cross country skiing since I started this. Well, today it is 14F with winds blowing at 20 mph out of the north making it feel like -3F. Rumor has it that it is only going to get worse. I dread the thought of an hour on the treadmill. I don't have a fancy one so it is straight flat walking. Better than sitting on the couch I guess. Send me good motivational thoughts please to get me through this :)

Tomorrow is the day I set aside to do my weigh in. I am a little bit nervous about it. The majority of the week I went over the 1500 calories I allowed myself, not by much, but enough to make me feel guilty. I hope tomorrow will be a day of celebration for more weight loss.

Not too bad, 4 lbs. I probably could have made the 5 lbs a week I am trying for if I did not have a day of constant low blood sugars. I believe it was Tuesday, I could not get my bs above 110 and kept dropping as low as 45. I ate all my normal meals and still had more food listed in the snack column than the meal section combined. (use the snack section to record my low bs treatments)
