Being avoiding my scale for a while because my diet has been very poor over the two last week. My weight should have been down by at least an extra kilo and a half by now, but when you are naughty you pay the price... I will take the small drop and try to be more determined. Sugary things have been my downfall over the last two weeks. (Was on holiday where it was warm for part of the time and now back home to the cold.)

Hello Everyone.
A question I would appreciate some help on, please. How friendly is your diet? What I mean is it a radical change from your "old normal" way of eating? Or is it a variation?
I don't want to end up on a yo-yo weight up and down. So I would like to know from people how friendly your diet is to long term sustainability of your weight loss.

It's not a normal weigh in day for me, but I have been on a diet (more changing to healthier eating choices) for one month today. I wanted to have a look: 3.5kg down for a month.
Thankful for the weight loss and feeling happy with the better choices I have made. (Okay there have been regular cheats and days off the wagon but this needs to sustainable for me.)

I am happy with the overall loss in a month of change. I have changed to healthy eating for about a month and there has been slow but steady progress. I was a bit disappointed yesterday, but then I had to give myself a reality check: I didn't pick up all the weight in a month! It took years! There are no miracles, just steady hard work (with the occassional cheat for me which I enjoy.) Eat healthy most days, have the chocolate/ ice cream / Coke in moderation, I don't deny yourself, so that I end up on a binge craze of comfort eating... My goal is health. Weight loss is a side benefit. I can already see it: my stomach "unloved" handles are shrinking. Slow and steady. Be a tortoise and do this right. :)
