Still pregnant! Guess I'm in this for the long haul. 12 days til my due date. 11 days left of working before maternity leave. I had a really bad headache today and it took 2 rounds of extra strength Tylenol (Tylenol is the only thing I can take pretty much for pain safely while pregnant) to get rid of it. It's hard to sleep more than 1 hour at a time at night, it's super hot, and in general I'm just to the point of not being comfortable anymore. Sorry this sounds so whiney. I am just ready to be done being pregnant at this point!

Had my 38 week appointment today. Got my test results back for that liver condition... NEGATIVE! Thank goodness. So now Sydney can pick whatever day she would like to be born, no induction necessary! She had been sunny side up and now she has flipped the right way so she is in the most favorable position for labor... I just hope she stays put! The doctor also said she has dropped a bunch since last week.
I've officially gained 25 lbs according to the doctor office scale. That was my goal so it looks like I'll be busting it. I will try my best to keep it under 30 though between now and 8/8 which is the last possible day I would still be pregnant (doctor will induce at 41 weeks).

I may have to be induced by this coming Monday, July 18th. We are waiting for the results of a blood test. I might have a condition called cholestasis which means my liver is letting bile into my bloodstream which could be lethal to the baby. If the test result is positive, they want to get her out by the time I'm 38 weeks or shortly thereafter. The 38 week mark is to make sure that her lungs have matured.
