YIPPEE!!!! Seven days and seven pounds! I am SO happy that I resisted the tempation last night of mexican food and birthday cake. It was so worth it.
This weeks focus is more water and exercise! Feeling motivated since I am losing.

Birday cakes-when I make one, it is a HUGE production. I finished the cake last night. Everyone likes to eat the tops that are left over from leveling. Including me, I resisted!!! Although I DID lick some frosting. It could have been much worse. I like the guilty feeling, it helps me avoid cheating. Just the little bit of frosting made me feel so bad. Someone told me before that when you cheat, you are only cheating yourself. There is NO justification. SO, today, I will behave, even during dinner at the Mexican restaurant. NO CHIPS & QUESO!!! It's good that we are going today and tomorrow is weigh in. I don't want to jeopordize that. I will tell myself "one more day". I was really hungry at dinner last night but I was pretty good. I made some "mashed potatoes" from cauliflower. These are good for you but not when you eat too many portions. I have to figure out how to eat more often or when i am not hungry so that this overindulgence doesn't happen. No gym until Monday.

I am excited about Sunday, it's weighing day. I have been SO good. Each day is a step closer to 'the dress'. I figure if I lose on average 4lbs a week, it should fit. That is not all that easy to do but it is doable. After that, I think that if a person loses no more than 2lbs a week, it is more likely to stay off. That is the goal I am going to reach for. Anyway, I did not gain all this weight in a month so I cannot expect to take it all off in a month!

Made it through yesterday-that means I can live through anything! The other half was very supportive. We had dinner in bed-Atkins friendly of course. Part of the issue is that he comes home from work so late, we ate after 9:00. That is late to me when I get up at 5:00. Can't fix that one. At least I got my butt out of the bed this morning and went to the gym. I always feel so much better after exercising. It's the GETTING there that I struggle with. Day 5 and off to a great start!
Grocery shopping today :(

2 journal entries on one day. That is a sign that I have having difficulties today. All I want to do is go lay down somewhere. I am fighting that with a visit here. I was out all day and had no food choices other than fast food. It was already 3:00 before I had my first meal. I bought a hamburger at Wendy's and ate the tomatoe, lettuce and meat and threw away the rest. Now, I am hungry but more tired. Dinner won't be for another hour! I think I am too tired to even cook! This is day 4. I am pretty sure that my issues have to do with not drinking water today (only 1 bottled water) and not eating. I would rather not eat than eat something bad. Poor planning on my part.
