I am in a mood today! No reason I can think of. Sleepy and uninterested in everything including food. The wind is seriously getting on my nerves. One of the hurricane shutters is loose and banging. And there's a horrible loud electric like buzz outside. I think I'm going to go cover my head in bed until it all passes.

The little hamsters that run on the wheel to keep my internet humming along must be getting tired because they aren't doing a very good job today. I think I might be responsible for exhausting them. Anyway, my internet is super spotty today. Maybe a sign I should go do something. I'm wondering if this will even post?
I decided this morning to step on the scale. Hey, it was there, I was there and my feet were cold from standing on the hard tile and the scale looked all warm and cozy.....sure.....anyway 185 this morning but today isn't my weigh in day. Yesterday was, of course, and I was 186. I even ate 1 low carb (5g) tortilla yesterday and drank an entire beer. Crazy.
I hope everyone is having a good day and are being kind to their hamsters.

Weight down 1 pound. Inches down 1.5...It is a loss, but geez, I seriously think something is wrong with me. Someone who burns as many calories as I do should be losing more if you subscribe to the old calories in vs calories out theory, which I really don't after reading Gary Taubes and Drs. Eades and Dr Atkins and the rest of the experts. I suppose I'm living proof that the old chestnut of calories in calories out doesn't work that way. Still, I can't be too unhappy because there was quite a bit of drinking over the weekend, although nothing like "old times" as well as a few meals out where I had to trust the restaurant's word about what goes into their food. Also, my experiment of not logging food or exercise. So far it seems it really isn't making a difference with me. Yet. The experiment continues.

Dang It! I promised myself I'd only come around here in the morning over coffee and in the evening after dinner. Poo. Oh well, now that I'm here I'm going to go read some journals. I did a brand new exercise dvd today and now I need a little rest so might as well rest here.
