An enforced weekend offline while my computer is being repaired meant no journal entries, although I did record most of my food using the phone app.
Not a bad weekend, foodwise, and fast day today.

Spot on 56 kg again, although the digits on the electronic scale hover around the 55s before settling! I'm happy with this. I only have one kilo to go to my new goal and I am already slim - these really are the last few hundred grams. It is definitely better to lose them very slowly and steadily in order to maintain more easily later so although I'm impatient I do know that a slow loss of about 200 or 300 gr a week is the best thing to go for.
Fast day was fine again yesterday. Last week I said I was going to try having just one meal in the 24 hours but so far I'm still finding it better (easier) to have two small meals.

It seems to be going really well this week; my weight is the same as yesterday and today is my second fast day of the week, so we're looking good for a small loss when I weigh in tomorrow.
I'm still concentrating hard on keeping my intake of fruits and vegetables both high and varied. This is my favourite time of year with all sorts of vegetables and fruits coming into season - such abundance after the relative dearth of winter and its lack of choice. Looking forward to fresh podded peas, broad beans, apricots and then cherries. Already enjoying green garlic, new potatoes and green beans.
I started the day with coffee and my breakfast bowl is ready to have in two or three hours' time. So, time to get on with some work...

Up 300 gr today but that's OK when it's not a fast day. I'm getting used to this pattern of fluctuations as long as they're not too big.
Made a delicious spread last night from peas, artichoke hearts, garlic, mint, olive oil and lemon juice. Super healthy and low calorie, next time I'll probably add a spoonful of yogurt so it binds together better. It was lovely on very thin toast topped with pieces of grilled halloumi cheese.
Edit - mid-afternoon I'm feeling bloated and "gassy" - could it be the peas & mint? lol

Dead on 56 kg today, a drop of 1kg since yesterday. I stuck to the fast day very well and went to bed really early to try and catch up after the weekend. Feeling great today.
