Detox is over! There was a little "cheating" this weekend, but it's funny how "cheating" now is SO much better than before I started. This is the first diet (and there have been many) where I actually feel like I am
learning
how to eat well, and enjoying it! I finally feel like I am able to make good eating decisions without feeling deprived - BREAKTHROUGH!

Alright, I'm back on the wagon, and am going in the right direction! I tried tofu for the first time last night, and it was actually good. I made a great veggie and tofu "stir-fry" (just used water instead of oil with lots of basil, oregano, and red pepper flakes) and served over 3/4 cup of brown rice. It was actually really good, and I have leftovers for lunch!

Well, after a weekend off the wagon and a day home from work recovering from a bad head-cold I surprisingly only gained half a pound...so, luckily I'm not too far off track after my indiscretions. :-)
