Watching the calories and trying to get extra water in today. Hope to increase my steps by the end of the day.

Just returned from vacation and need to recommit to my fitness program. I will really need to stay focused since we are moving to a new place while maintaining our current residence through Aug-14, and preparing to return to online classes on 5/6/14. Exercise is a must so I will begin my exercise/walking program today. :-D

Walked 6,239 steps. My husband took me to lunch today at Casa Blanca (sea food) and I ordered the lobster and shrimp linguine with mushrooms and a wine cream sauce. I could only eat less than half of my meal, but knew after that I would need to watch it for the rest of the day. They had a party for February birthdays in our office today along with Valentine's day and they had more sweets than I thought was possible!! I had one small piece of cake and brought home the cup cake they had for each person celebrating a birthday (mine was Feb. 1st) along with a slice of my favorite coconut cake to share with my family. It's weird that when you haven't eaten like that for a while, and when you're in that situation you realize just how much your eating habits have changed! My sweet tooth was never that extreme, but there was a time that I would have gone for it and done a little more damage. I feel like I passed the test and actually look forward to working out tomorrow. :-0
