Same weight, but not stopping. Happy that I've been able to hold this weight loss. I just need to get things back in motion.

Losing 1.1 kg a Week
10 October 2020
I am 4 weeks into my diet, and only one week into exercising (walking, and walk-jogging intervals). I have exercised every day since I started last weekend and can feel my brain telling my body that it wants to work out each day--like I'm eager for my husband to get home from work so I can go do my workout! I am down 10 legitimate pounds since starting, and that is with having one weekend (last weekend) of falling off the plan and doing some adding of lbs that I successfully eliminated this week. I feel that with each week I'm doing this, I'm learning more and more about what foods to choose and what foods to avoid. I look forward to my spicy V8 for veggies each morning, and last night I tackled my dinner salad like it was the main course and did not feel hungry for my herb-chicken afterwards...though I forced myself to have some anyway. I've been doing original South Beach diet approach, and after a week in I started tracking calories just to see how it pans out and because I felt like something was off. I'm noticing that if I get less than 1,000 calories a day (which is easy to do on South Beach) I don't seem to lose anything. If I get 1,100-1,400 a day, I do seem to lose and I also feel better. So, I am trying to give my body what it needs in fuel/calories to not go into panic mode. Avoid deprivation, focus on proper fueling! So, one month into my six month weight loss goal and I'm feeling like I'm in the right spot on my learning curve with more lessons to learn, I'm certain. I am loving this website and seeing everyone else's journeys - thank you for sharing your successes, set-backs, and the gorgeous pictures of your healthy meals.
