I used to be the skinniest stick-figure kid growing up. As an adult, I pretty much could eat whatever I wanted w/o an exercise plan.
After pregnancy at 25, things changed a little, and I started to exercise a little.
At 43, things went awry, and I HAD to exercise regularly. At 46, I was so burnt out with the exercising and "watching (a little) what I ate", I pretty much sat on the couch for a year and a half.
Gained 7 kg and started to get disgusted with my indulging eating habits. I could easily w/o even trying consume between 3,000 and 4,000 calories a day.
I started curtailing my calories down to about 1900, lost some fat (about 3 kg) and got motivated to slowly start exercising again (walking, strength training), lost another 3 kg.
Then I found the Shangri La diet, and it made sense, so I started on that (flaxseed oil, eloo) but I am still counting calories, and sometimes that makes it a little difficult...., because the oil is so much fat (I know it's healthy, I know....)and calories that it intimidated me.
I want to keep it up, because I still want to lose those last fat flabbies.
I started the diet around the 28th June, and I may have lost 1 kg so far, but I fluctuate so much daily, that I don't really see the results as sticking.
