I was born in England, and raised there for many years before moving to Wisconsin. I have been married for 5 years (come August), and have multiple pets. I am working as a veterinary technician, and have done so for about 9 years now. Other than my parents and sister, I have no other family in the USA.
I work 10 hours a day, and there is not a lot of time for eating healthy as my schedule is so hectic, but I do my best. I went through fertility treatment, and a lot of stress, over the past few years, and gained 50 pounds. All of my friends started Jenny Craig, but I am unable to afford that, so I am going to do it with Weight Watchers, and help from others.
I have not always had a problem with my weight until I started trying to have children. Since then, I have gone up and up. Today is the day that stops!
I hope to meet my goals, and maintain an ideal weight. I am one of those people who can't stand eating vegetables, so dieting has been very hard for me. In fact, there are only 4 veggies that I will even try. (Corn, peas, green beans, and carrots). Finding meals that are still healthy, yet vegetable-less has been very difficult. Only recently have I started to eat salads, and not very well. I usually pack them full of hard boiled eggs, and bacon bits. On the plus side though, I don't like salad dressings, so that keeps the calorie counts a bit down. I also have a problem eating to many carbs. What can I say....I love them.
