Well, today is Day One of my attempt to get down to 135 pounds. I have gained quite a bit of weight over the past 2 years, and really want to get back down to close to where I used to be. I am doing Fat Smash b/c a couple of my friends have had good luck with it. I had fun at the grocery store today. I got lots of vegetables, some egg whites, fruits, oatmeal, etc. I had to avert my eyes when I passed the ice cream, potatoes, fried chicken, and a few other things...but I consoled myself with the fact that I got to buy different sorts of beans, a mango, and some raw green beans (my favorites). Anyhow, just wanted to post and say "hello"...hoping to get in touch with a diet buddy or two that can help keep me accountable, as I'm in a social crowd that pays little attention to food intake! I'm anxious to explore the site a little bit, get some ideas, and get a clearer understanding of what I should be eating and what I should avoid. Oh, also, I'm a pretty devout member of a gym...I typically do 30 minutes of cardio, 10 minutes of abs, and sometimes some weights. If you have suggestions of things I should add, I would appreciate them!! I'm so glad to have found this website...I'm sure it will be quite helpful.
