Yesterday was day 2 of detox, and it is actually going really well! I've lost 3 pounds so far, and I have a lot of energy. The vegetable bean soup recipe on here is great, and a perfect lunch. It's hearty and filling, and doesn't leave you wanting more.
I made a non-dairy breakfast smoothie this morning, and it wasn't that good...it was frozen raspberries, an ounce of unsweetened cranberry juice, water, a little flax seed oil, and some soy protein powder. I don't have any experience with protein powder, and maybe that was the problem, but I had to choke it down! Still on the hunt for a good, quick breakfast.
I ordered the book, and it should arrive today, so once I have that, I'll have a better idea of what is good and bad, so I can start making my own recipes - that will be a relief!
Another hour of tennis last night, it looks like its going to be rainy for the rest of the week, so we're going to try and get another hour in tonight, and think of some rainy day activities.
