Suggestions Please!
I don't know why I am not losing weight. I started on April 9th - the first week I lost 5 pounds (a pound a day for the first 5 days). Since then I have not lost any weight.
I think I am following the Atkins plan to the T. Low carb, more protein and fat. I've been lifting weights (7lbs) for my problem areas, arms and crunches with a big ball (stomach). And, today, I started walking.
Anyone who has been or is being successful on Atkins, please take a look at my meal plan and give me any suggestions you can.

Hi Rdrunr, I lost 30 lbs on atkins but once I started going to the gym I didn't lose any more weight, no matter what I was eating. I did, however lose inches. Make sure to check you measurements. I'm pretty sure they suggest that you wait to start exercising until you've done a few weeks of Atkins. Also, are you writing everything you're eating? it doesn't seem like you're eating much.

Thanks for responding. I eat usually up to 1700 calories. I feel full, usually bloated lately. I though I had the "Atkins Edge" briefly but that energized feeling disappeared.
This is the second time I tried Atkins in the last 6 months. I haven't exercised a lot, just trying to tone. Did you look at what I've been eating? Do you have any suggestions? I would really love to lose 30 poumds. How long have you been doing Atkins?

Just by reviewing your diet calendar,I agree with ndubbs87 comment about eating enough.If this is really your full diet,I don't see nearly enough veggies,you should be getting 12-15 nc daily oy your 20nc. The first two weeks I did Induction,I didn't lose alot of weight,but I lost inches and continue to do so.Everyone is different in how they lose.I also see foods on your list that are not recommended on Induction.

Hi Tewey, When I at more veggies (celery, romaine, cucumbers) I started gaining. What foods are not recommended on induction? someone had told me cream cheese was not allowed but in reading the book, it gives celery and cream cheese as a snack on the induction pages. Any suggestions are appreciated!
