Looped's Journal, 05 Nov 17

I went to dinner at friends house house last night. I brought a blue cheese salad which I ate with some celery and Boursin cheese. The rest of them also had salad in addition to two large pizzas before they busted open the 2 lb box of Sees.

My only indulgence was the Chardonnay, Edna Valley which I brought because it's relatively low carb yet still tasty.

I think I did well.

I usually would have indulged in all of it particularly because the chocolate right in the middle of the table smelled like a chocolate dream, but I keep telling myself one day I can have SOME just not today.

I don't know if I could have resisted the See's candy. During the holiday season I usually buy a box of their peanut brittle. Hope I can resist this year!

That Sees Peanut brittle is the best I've ever had but still not worth the price in carbs, regret, etc... One day.....

I know. After I posted about it I looked up the calories for the peanut brittle and for one piece of the Bordeaux chocolate - on of my favorites. It was like 86 calories! For just one little piece. I'm not following a low carb diet but I am aware of them and See's candy doesn't work for any WOE!
