Grocery shopping yesterday had me stressed. Hubs isn't enjoying the low carb lifestyle change. If anyone has tips they'd be appreciated 😊

Mine is the same way. I have learned just to have stuff for him to eat and snack on and try my best not to get into it(I'm pretty good about sticking to my woe).

Thanks Emily. That's what I've contemplated doing that but he's really got to lose the weight. Maybe I'll find some decent snacks for him 😊

My mother in law changed her hubbys diet to low carb for his diabetes. She cooks him a nice hearty dinner, then fills a plate for him for lunch the next day to put in the fridge. Keeps him happy, as he has something to look forward to for lunch, and doesn't have to think about what to eat. He snacks on nuts.

Following! Good luck with the hubby. I know my boyfriend wouldn't have been OK with this diet if he hadn't started it because of his diabetes about a year ago. But now he loves it! Its a learning process for sure though!

Thanks everyone! It's been difficult to say the least. He tells me he doesn't feel full in the mornings before lunch but the rest of the day isn't so bad. We got some low carb snacks he likes & no calorie Powerade to help with headaches and soda cravings
